Do I have to have an engagement session? | An engagement session is a complimentary service I provide with all packages. I highly recommend the session as it allows us to build a relationship with one another before your big day. I use this opportunity to teach basic posing techniques and get to know you better. However, an engagement session is not a requirement for hiring Jacque Miller Photography. |
How far do you travel for engagement sessions? | There is no limit to the distance I will travel for an engagement session. |
For how long do engagement sessions last? | Engagement sessions typically last for 90-120 minutes. |
Do you sell Save the Date cards and other printed press items? | Yes! I have partnered with Miller's Professional Imaging, as well as MPix to bring you a large selection of cards and other products you may enjoy. |
Should I go tanning before my engagement session? |
No. Please do not go tanning at least a week before your session in order to avoid unflattering skin tones. |
How long after the session will it take before we see our images? |
Your images are typically ready to view in 2-4 weeks after your session. |
What happens after my engagement photos are ready to view? | I contact you to schedule a proofing session. During the proofing session, you select any images that you'd like to purchase. You may purchase an engagement collection, or select from the a la cart menu. Once you pay for your images, your order will be placed. |
How long does it take for me to receive my products from the engagement session once I place my order? | Products are typically delivered 1-3 weeks from the time the order is placed. |
What is the process for hiring Jacque Miller Photography for my wedding? |
1. We will have a consultation in which we determine the way I can best meet your photographic needs. You select a wedding collection, sign a contract, and pay a nonrefundable retainer fee to hold your wedding date. This retainer is applied to the wedding collection you selected. |
How much do your wedding collections cost? | Wedding collections vary based on your specific needs. Please contact me to further discuss how I can work with you to capture your special day. |
How do payments work? | A nonrefundable retainer is due when the contract is signed. The final balance is due 2 weeks before the wedding. Payment plans are available. |
What forms of payment do you accept? |
I accept cash, checks, money orders, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and debit cards.There is a $40 fee for returned checks. |
Are your packages set, or can I customize them to fit my needs? | All of my packages can be customized so that you get exactly what you want. |
How long will my images be online? | Your images will be online for at least 3 months. |
Are you insured? | Yes. |
What happens if your equipment breaks? | I carry backup equipment to replace anything that could break. |
How long will it take me to receive my album once the design is approved? | You should receive your album in 2-4 weeks from the time you approve the design. |
Do you offer boudoir sessions? | Yes, I offer boudoir sessions for brides as gifts for their future husbands. I am the only one who will shoot your boudoir session. (No assistant or 2nd shooter!) |
Where does the boudoir session take place? | The boudoir session takes place in the comfort of your own home. I bring my studio equipment to your home, and we have our private session. |
Will other people see my boudoir photos? | No, no one else will see your private images. They will not be on my blog, website, or social media pages. |
What do you do with the boudoir pictures? | A photo book is the perfect way to showcase these images for the future husband. It makes a great gift on the wedding night! |
